About Me

So, I should tell you upfront: I'm not your usual type of girl.

I'm 24 years old, graduated from university with a good degree in Psychology. My dream goal in life - like a good Jewish girl - is to be married, have kids and be a good, obedient wife and mother. I'm pretty old-fashioned with my values - I think the woman should be there to serve the man, and the man is there to finanacially support the woman. I *love* cooking and baking, being outdoors, socialising and love a good movie.

So here's where i'm a bit different. I'm a bit of a tomboy, in a love gaming, love awesome weapons, love fast cars and have 8 tattoos kinda way. Ok, so my tattoos aren't huge and crazy - they're tasteful, spiritual and just in black and white. But they're definately there. I have a wicked sense of humour - think anything with Seth Rogen in. And i'm a pretty laid back kinda chick. I don't stress out easily, I like taking life by the flow and have what my friends term "an uber optimistic" outlook.

Who I'm looking for

I'm looking for a nice Jewish boy, obviously!

I guess I'm looking for somebody fun, slightly crazy, adventurous with a great sense of humour. My dream guy would be Seth Rogen, so if you're on those lines, you're on a winner.

Somebody who's got the old-fashioned values thing, but is also an open-minded, up for fun kinda person too.

Oh, and you gotta like animals. I have a cat (who is possibly planning world domination) and I want a dog in the future as well.

What I do for a living

Ok, so I don't think there is any way I can make my job sound exciting. I am an events and programme planner for a training company. Yep. I plan stuff. Then I organise that stuff. Then I plan some more. It's more exciting than a Jane Fonda workout video.

My favourite foods

Chicken, chicken and more chicken. It's tasty and as much as I want to be vegan or something, chickens taste delicious. It's their own fault they're so tasty. Plus, the truth is, they're kinda ugly so I don't feel bad about eating them. You know, if it was a lamb or a rabbit or something cute, I could resist. Then.... then Nando's came along. I mean, I was futile to resist.

Oh, and mangoes.

Music I like

I'm pretty easy-going with my musical. I like alternative stuff like rock, punk, nu-metal and other emo-type music that I haven't grown out of from my teens. But yes, I'll listen to most chart stuff like pop and RnB. To be honest, anything with a good drum beat gets me. Unless it's some whiny indie guy singing songs about how much he loved some girl he probably dated for a week. In a voice higher than mine.

Books / TV programs / Films / Theatre I like

So, you may have guessed I'm a comedy fan. I love laughing, there's no doubt about it. I don't take life uber seriously and think life is far better seem from the funny side. I'm a huge fan of Kevin Smith and Judd Apatow movies. If you don't know who they are... google them right this very second!

I'm also a sucker for those cheesy american tv shows, like Lost, Heroes, Terminator, Battlestar Galactica. Anything with lots of tension, an overly complicated plot and lost of guns.

My spare time activities or hobbies

See, when you put it this way, I have to invent stuff to sound like I'm super athletic or can speak 37 languages or something. I'm a normal person... pretty much. After work, I don't tend to climb mountains or save kittens from trees or anything. I tend to go home, chillax in front of the TV and see my friends. I love movies. I love food and cooking. I do love the great outdoors in a when it's summer kinda of way. And i do love travelling and exploring new places. The coolest place i've been to was Egypt a few years back. I loved the culture there - absolutely amazing.

But you know, other than that not much. Other than my secret life as an international spy, of course.

What being Jewish means to me

Having a crazy Jewish mother who cooks like crazy, shops like there is no tomorrow and is generally eccentric. And I plan to follow in her footsteps every step of the way.

My favourite cities and places

I love Cyprus. When I'm old and rich I want a holiday house out there. It's got such an amazingly rich cultural history for starters. And of course, the whole island is stunning. Silver sand beaches, lagoons hidden in the Troodos mountains, streets full of tacky tourist shops. Amazing.

Second to that, my bed. Ideally with a rich Jewish husband in it.

Something I would like to try or do

Hmmm, i dunno. Generally, if there's something I want or want to do - I just do it. I don't let things hold me back really. I've experienced quite a lot of cool stuff in my life; climbing pyramids, paragliding, running my own business. The things I wanna do now are being a wife and a mother to some exceptionally lucky guy. Oh, and i'd like to do that Disney thing where I can whistle and random wildlife animals flock to me and do my housework. That's be awesome.
